SANSA Event 2026
2026 SANSA Student Engagement Event at UWC
The 2026 South African Nursing Students Association (SANSA) Student Engagement Event successfully brought together future nursing healthcare leaders at the University of the Western Cape (UWC) from 24 to 25 June 2026. This vital annual initiative serves as a national forum for nursing student representatives from universities across South Africa to unite, collaborate, and address the unique opportunities and challenges within higher education nursing programmes.
Driving Collaboration and Student Leadership
At its core, the two-day event focused on strengthening student leadership and promoting cross-institutional networking. Representatives engaged in high-level discussions aimed at sharing best practices for student development, ensuring that the voice of the next generation of South African nurses remains influential and proactive. By exchanging ideas and strategies, attendees left equipped to foster stronger student communities at their respective home campuses.
A Combined Institutional Effort
The successful execution of the 2026 event highlighted a powerful collaboration within the academic nursing sector. The planning and implementation were seamlessly coordinated by:
- The University of the Western Cape (UWC) as the host institution.
