Who we are

The Forum for Nursing Deans of South Africa (FUNDISA) is a non-profit organisation and the representative body for deans and heads of nursing education institutions across South Africa. Our registered address is 1177 Woodlands Drive, Queenswood, Pretoria, 0186. Our general email address is info@fundisa.ac.za.

What information we collect through this website

We collect personal information only when you actively provide it to us — for example, when you use a contact form, send us an email, or register for an event or programme through this website. We do not use analytics software, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies. The only cookies this website uses are technical session cookies that are necessary for the site to function.

Why we collect it and what we do with it

We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, process your event or programme registration, or fulfil another specific purpose you initiated. We will not use it for any unrelated purpose without telling you first, and we will not sell or share it with any third party for marketing purposes.

How long we keep it

General correspondence is kept for three years. Registration and programme records are kept for six years. After these periods, your personal information is securely deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act No. 4 of 2013 (POPIA), you have the right to:

• ask us what personal information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct any information that is inaccurate;
• ask us to delete information we no longer need; and
• object to us using your information in a particular way.
